I have arrived...

So I'm finally here...at my new blog spot. It really is so good to be back, I've missed writing and documenting our amazing life. And I know many of you have missed me; you may not have thought I was, but I was paying attention to the calls, emails and FB requests demanding the return of the blog. For those of you
that are first joining me, I'll give you a brief history. I wish I could share our old website but for privacy and protection I'm not able to. You will notice I will be much more general this time around and use only first names due to the privacy issues from the other blog, but I promise to be just as candid as always about the trials, tribulations and triumphs in our lives in hopes of helping others.

Our journey started about 7 years ago. Two years of trying to start a family lead us down the invitro path which resulted in two beautiful, tiny, fragile twins; Marley 2lbs 12oz and Merrick 4lbs 14oz. The first
days were tough and the two months that followed in the NICU were just as challenging.

Our little ones finally arrived home and we were hit with the reality that God has entrusted us with these two little lives.

(especially the first time I was home alone with Merrick and he Brady'd on me, heart stopped beating and turned blue!) That feeling hasn't changed and almost 4 years later, we still feel the huge weight of responsibility of being a parent. In 4 years we have experienced achieved milestones, several hospital visits and being the proud parents of team sports participants. We have shared several arguments, many temper
tantrums and a ton of laughter.

As you will learn in the coming months...our family isn't perfect, raising twins is tough (isn't raising kids in general?), but a life with love, faith and laughter is nothing short of perfect. I am open to sharing our struggles and achievements with you; I might not always be "PC" (politically correct) but my thoughts will be honest and transparent. We welcome you into our lives through this blog...get ready for the ride.
